Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the questions Ottawa and Gatineau property managers, condo boards, and business owners ask us most. If yours is not here, call (613) 362-3362 and we will talk it through.

We work on private property across Ottawa and Gatineau. There are two parts to it. We install the signs that make a lot enforceable, and once they are up, we remove vehicles that break the posted rules when you call. We do not touch city streets or municipal parking.

If you own or manage a private lot and you are dealing with vehicles that do not belong there, call (613) 362-3362 and we will walk you through what we can do.

Yes. Owners and authorized agents can enforce posted parking rules on private property in Ontario, as long as the signage is in place first. The signs have to spell out the rules, the consequence, and the contact details the regulations call for.

That is the whole reason our signage installation comes first. It gets your lot to the standard before any vehicle is ever removed, which is what protects you afterward.

It is built to be light to manage. Once the signs are up, you are on call with us. When a vehicle is parked in violation, you let us know and we come remove it. There is no patrol contract running in the background and no ticketing scheme to administer.

So the only thing you pay for is the signage. After that, the lot gets our attention when you actually need it, and not before.

That is up to you and what the signs on your lot say. Some owners want a vehicle removed as soon as it is clearly in violation. Others prefer a bit of leeway first. We agree on how it works with you up front so there is no confusion later.

A few situations do not leave room for a warning. A vehicle blocking a fire route, a loading bay, or an accessible spot can be towed right away, since those are safety issues.

If we towed it, call (613) 362-3362 and we will tell you where the vehicle is and what you need to get it back. You will need identification that matches the ownership, plus payment for the towing and any storage.

If you want to dispute the tow, we can walk you through the photos and the signage that was posted at the lot. We will be plain with you about what happened and why.

Yes, once your lot is signed. If a vehicle has sat for weeks with no movement, expired plates, or obvious damage, we can document it and arrange removal as part of our private property towing.

An abandoned vehicle takes a few extra legal steps that a normal tow does not, and we handle those for the property owner. Call us and we will tell you what the case needs.

The cost on your side is the sign installation. That covers the wording, the signs, and getting them mounted to meet Ontario's rules. The price tracks the size of the lot and how many signs it needs, so a small condo lot runs differently than a large plaza.

We walk the property first and give you a written quote. Call (613) 362-3362 to set up a site review.

We cover private lots right across Ottawa and Gatineau, from downtown buildings to suburban plazas. Our base on Prince of Wales Drive keeps us central to both sides of the river.

Have a look at our Ottawa and Gatineau pages, or call (613) 362-3362 if you are not sure your property is in our area. We will tell you straight.

No. We work with small townhouse complexes, condo boards with a single visitor lot, retail strips with a dozen stalls, and large commercial sites with hundreds. The approach does not change, only the scope.

If you are not sure your lot is worth a program, call and we will be honest about it. Sometimes a couple of well placed signs is all a lot actually needs.

Ontario rules call for signs that state the rules clearly, identify the property, name the enforcement or towing company, and list a phone number for vehicle recovery. They have to be visible at the entrances and through the lot. On the Quebec side, that wording needs to be bilingual.

Our signage installation covers the supply, placement, and mounting so your lot meets the standard before anything is enforced. We also replace signs that get damaged or taken down.

Yes. We are on call across Ottawa and Gatineau day and night, weekends and holidays included. A lot of the trouble on private lots happens after hours, so that is when a fair share of the calls come in.

When a vehicle is parked on your lot against the posted rules, one call to (613) 362-3362 gets a unit moving.

It starts with a call or a message through our contact page. We talk through what is happening on your lot, then come walk the property and look at how it is actually used.

From there we get the signage in, and once it is up, you call us when a vehicle is in violation. Most properties are set up and ready within a couple of weeks of that first call.
